I want to live with my dad

well the thing is that I love my mom to death but living with her sucks I move a lot and I cant handle it anymore and she spends all her time with her boyfriend I’ve pretty much raised myself. Im 14 and I know living with my dad is the right thing but I dont wanna hurt my mom. If I live with my dad I know I will always have a home.. what should I do??

First talk to your mom about how you feel. If you’ve already done this or she doesn’t want to make any changes then talk to your dad. I would talk to your mom first though. If you don’t she might feel like you’re going behind her back or not giving her a chance to prove herself. She might be willing to compromise with you somehow, or she might be able to make the changes you need and deserve. Give her a chance. But if it doesn’t work out after the talk-I think you’ll know if it’s not going to-then talk to your dad.
