I want that pony

How do I convince my parents to let me have a pony? There is this horse rescue place and they have this pony that you can adopt at NO COST! my dad still said no. How do I convince them!?!?!??(I’ve been wanting a pony or horse all my life and my dad said when im 13 or 14 hed get me one but that was a stupid lie my dad lied to me and I hate him for it because I depended on that promise my whole life!)

Look further into it - it may be ‘no cost’, to adopt, but once adopted the upkeep/needs costs go to you and there lies having to shell out money, possibly quite a bit over a years time - as far as your Dad, consider times and circumstances may have changed and he’d do it if he could…I wish you the best !!

Hmm, I’m in a similar situation. So I know how you feel :( But you could do what I am doing now - get your parents to set you a task that would help keep the pony. Because although it’s free - there’s lots of costs to keep it. Perhaps you could find a place to board it and save up for that. Or if you already have a place, try saving up for food etc. If you can pay part of it, your parents won’t feel it’s going to end up their responsibility. Or you can ask your parents for something to achieve to help persuade them. One thing I did is ask for money for birthday and Christmas to help pay. Hope I helped and good luck :D
