I want my now orange/yellow/white hair to be back to my dark brown!

ok… so first I dyed my hair black, because I have always looked good with black. Then for some stupid reason I bleached it. So it turned orange. So then I bleached it again… its now orange/yellow/white, and I HATE IT! I want to dye it back to black and never even think about this awful awful hair disaster again! But I dont want my hair to fallout or something from over dying it! Could I use a non-amonia (or watever) hair dye? I NEED it back to black by tomorrow!!! PLEASE HELP!!

You just take the chance you want to with your hair and remember; it will always grow back thankfully and condition the hell out of it. All of these salon “experts” tell you “GO TO THE SALON!” it’s a bunch of b.s. I have gone to the salon and had my hair fried a few times! AND when trying to get professional help other times with coloring, I was told “We’ll do what we can”. SEE? No Promises. Same as at home. IMO~ Save your money and do it at home. All the salon is going to do is something you can do yourself.
KEEP CHECKING AND CHECKING OFTEN.
CONDITION BEFORE AND AFTER.
NO HAIR DRYER FOR A WEEK at least, IF DAMAGED.
WRAP WITH WARM TOWEL for about 15 minutes while CONDITIONED every other night for a week. This worked for me when I had my hair burned up by a PROFESSIONAL.
All this I’m telling you I discovered online by googling over-processed hair self help treatments. And it worked. Good Luck :)

Listen to me: DO NOT DO THIS COLOR YOURSELF!!! Your hair has been through enough trauma being bleached twice. Depending on your hair texture, it may fall out or it may be fine. Why take that chance? It’s time to call in a professional. And remember, do not bleach your own hair at home. But of course, you already learned that lesson!

Absolutely. I have dyed my own hair for years simply because the salon is doing the same thing you are for triple (or more) the price. The only other thing they can do is a Malibu Treatment which, honestly you can buy and do yourself. Just make sure your hair is conditioned OFTEN and you should really never bleach more than once every 2-3 weeks. You can, but expect your hair to hate you for it lol. Also adding color onto your hair is a lot different than pulling it out of your hair. Bleach does WAY more damage than dye. Think of it this way…when you bleach your hair the color is (for the most part) removed and there are “empty” pores in the strands of hair, dying will somewhat fill those holes. It still does damage, yes, but it also can help over bleached hair. I have had the same issue with bleaching out black dye. Although I liked my orange/yellow/white hair for a while so I left it. But I have done that more than once and the second time I didnt want the orange so I dyed it a different color, my hair was fine. Dry, but it was not so damaged it fell out. The most I have experienced with over bleaching is brittle hair. I had to make sure it was VERY well conditioned all the time or my hair would break when brushing it, not at the roots, but at the ends. Since your roots are usually the healthiest part of your hair, it’s not often your hair will just “fall out”.
