Why is it so awkward now that I told my Mom?
I just figured out I got my period yesterday. I never wanted my mom to come home, I had told her on the phone so she went to went Walgreen’s and got pads for me. today she asked me if I was having cramps, I said no she said lucky, I was walking back to my my room talking to myself saying I wish she wouldn’t talk to me about this and just act like I haven’t gotten my period, I’m soo frustrated. What do I do?
Dont let it be awkward. You are making it that way in your head. Its a natural thing that all girls have, and by the time you are used to it, you most likely wont mind period talk around other girls.
But yes like the others said, just tell your mom you dont want to talk about it. She most likely thinks its not umcomfortable for you to talk about it with her. Let her know know. Once you are more used to it, it will be easier for you.
Just be like “mom, i dont want to talk about it right now.” she’ll understand that PMS makes you crabby! jaja, so just say that.
Tell her you would rather not talk about it.
