I told him I liked him, how do I know if he likes me back?

Okay. I’m in 8th grade and I’ll be in High School next year. Anyways, I like this guy named Alex. Well, I just came to my new school about a month ago. I moved and switched in the middle of the year about. Well, we have three classes together, (2nd period, 4th period, and last period). I became reallygood friends with him instantly. In our 4th hour we evensat by eachother for awhile before seats were changed. We would talk about a lot. We’d write notes andtimeto time play a poking game.He’s super tickelish and so am I. Well, this past Monday, he broke up with his girlfriend. He’s been dating her for three years. I really like him. But I know he loved her very much. So im not just going to rush into things. Well, I walked into my math class the next day and sat down and my friend Tiffany who’s sits in front of me started talking to me. Eventually I told her I liked him, she already knew that!?!?! She told me she’d known that for awhile… Then she was like, “Can I please tell him?? He just broke up with his girlfriend!!” I was like, “Fine,just tell him I like him! that’s all.” So she told him after class. The rest of the day was so weird. Like he talked to me a lot more. And at lunch were allowed to go outside in a fenced in area. Well he kept walking in front of me. Then in our last hour he kept looking at me. Well you know what sucks? That was our last day before Thanksgiving break. It’s saturday now. I’ve talked to him on myspace but not a lot. I have no idea what to do. I really like him. I don’t want to seem desperate or anything you know? My best friend crystal is really good friends with him too. She’s known him for a few years. She told me that we would be really cute together. So is there anybody out there who can help me? Does he like me? Is he emotionaly ready for another relationship? Everyone goes back to school Monday. What do I say when I see him? Oh god.. HELP!?!
