I suck at french heeelp!

the only things in french I know is numbers, colors, and animals. Nothing else, not even the easy stuff like what, is, to, a, like. Can someone giveme a list of french words with the english word of it beside it? thanks

One thing that makes French hard for native English speakers is that French verb conjugation is more complex than in English. Merely memorizing words will not help you with grammar.

One of the first steps in learning French is to learn the present tense conjugations of être (to be), avoir (to have), and faire (to do). When you know how to use these common verbs you will be able to understand and form many sentences.

My teacher already taught my class that stuff and I understood it, but I still had problems figureing teh sentences out.
