Blocked kidney in friend

Ok so I’m 14 and I have a best friend and she only has one kidney and lastnight she went to the hospital with bad back ache and her side was hurting …

Ok the doc told her that her pee is backing up and going into her kidney and so something is blocked just that they are trying to find were at …

K so I’m 14 and she 37 but shes soo cool and she always says I’m like her lil sister and she way cool .. I on the other hand have both of my kidneys and I’m in good health . Ummm my friend is only 4ft 6and a half in. And she weighs 87 pounds she is not a migit but she is very small I’m 5”3 and weigh 196.. I would give 1 of my kidneys for someone I love and are my friend .

If it came down to life or death I would probably give her one of mine but I would like to try and know how this would go and if its a good idea and if my 1 kidney would be okay alone ??? Plzzz help me out with this !

Yes, you have two kidneys just in case you lost one. what would happen is, your other kidney would enlarge taking the place of the second one. you’ll be fine and working like nothing ever happened. I’m glad you care so much about your friend :)

I think you’re getting ahead of things - they may be able to resolve this current problem - also if a kidney was needed, it would have to be determined if you were a match…your friend will be in my thoughts and prayers…Take care !!

Just to let you all know my friend came home today and nothing is wrong she is good as new , just tired

she didn’t have to have anything done but lots of meds !! Thank God ! :-)
