I need help my computer is so slow and annoying all the sudden ,

You see my computer has been acting up lately and like I don’t know what it can be. For instance when I click the link at the bottom of my screen I have to click it like 10 times before it comes up. My lime wire skipp’s a lot >=[ And I play this game called runescape (a little nerdy I know .) but like all my passwords keep getting stolen. And I checked for a keylogger virus’s ect and I found nothing = [ I dont know what to doo. Help me please .(:

Utilize the three programs below (or their equivalent) then follow Texaskimmie’s advice.

AVG is a FREE anti-virus program that is excellent

  Eusing Free Registry Cleaner is good and relatively fast.

  Spybot - Search & Destroy removes spyware and it’s FREE.

jks yeah my computer with dial up was like so slow once because I kept downloading stuff and playing internet games but when I got with bigpond thingi I still do all that stuff and the computer is going at a very good speed so I think it depends on the brand your with maybe I don’t know really but yeah if you just clean it like what the peepz above did then it might go well…any/wayz hope all goes well with you computer!!

Well, limewire will slow any computer down. I’d suggest not having it running while you are trying to do other things. Also you need to do a cleaning on your computer, and also you probably need to defragment it.

Go to start > programs>accessories>system tools >Disc cleanup

then:

Start>programs>accessories>system tools>defragment

This will definitely help. You will also need some kind of spyware software to keep it clean on a regular basis. Different websites you go to will leave cookies and all types of spyware on your computer. If you look you can find a good one for free. Or if you want a great one you can buy one. Good luck!

It probably has a virus. Try scanning your PC and see if there are any..
