im 14 and have add when ur in class i way to stay focuz is take lotsof notes and or draw pics of what ur doin in class or just keep busy when ur drivin read street name and look around at everythin ik it hard but this will help

Dear whered_the__hippies_go, Your mother won’t take you but you drive…please drive yourself to the doctor. If you do have ADD they can put you through the proper tests to confirm this. They can advise you on the proper medications used to help with ADD. If you do take any drugs you must stop, these contribute to making one feel unmotivated to get help for themselves. A lot of people with ADD do self-medicate trying to get their thoughts to settle but they just make is worse so stop all self-medications and see a doctor. Thousands of people have a form of ADD and are doing very well in school and hold down wonderful jobs. It isn’t your fault you have it but it is up to you to do something about it…you asked so you want help, now go get it. Sue….good luck

people with an addiction (including hard drugs) shouldnt be thrown in jail, they need help theres more people in jail with mental illnesses than there are in mental institutions
