I need help fast with bright yellow/orange hair

My question is only, can I dye my hair back to a darker color with this fiasco I ended up with by doing a color remover. The lightest before color on the box of deep brown is a dark blond and my hair is lighter at the top than tweety birds while going down to red on the ends,,,darker as it goes. Im sure the darker and lighter lucille ball red would be ok, Im just concerned about the really bright yellow not turning as dark as the rest of it…please help and NO, a salon is not an option at this point. I have to do something early in the morning because I have to go to work.

Heeey I had this problem.

My Dad owns a hair salon, of which he is the salon director, but I refuse to let him do my hair, preferring to do it myself.

When, to my horror it went a beautifully hideous shade of vibrant orange, I still refused to let him sort it out, just asked him what do to.

He got me a box of home hairdye called Smart Blonde in the shade Ash blonde, and now its gorgeous, having rid my hair of all the red pigments causing the awful colour.

=D God gave us hair to have fun with, not to worry about, so just enjoy playing around and experimenting, but keep deeep conditoning. VO5 hot oil is wicked.

when using a color corrector on your hair, most of the time you do have to redye. color correctors always turn your hair an orange color that they call a “base color” if you used a color corrector like oops then yes it is safe to recolor your hair the color you want it. keep a watchful eye while the dye is in it and make sure to do a strand test every 5 min. after using a color corrector dye seems to take a lot quicker.
