How can I uninstall sims for good?

Not that Long Ago I Unistalled the sims . But then my Laptop restarted its self and said the Sims was never uninstalled so I tried to play itand it wouldnt let me so.. it wont let me uninstall it I’ve uninstalled all the expansion packs but it still says I need to uninstall my expansion packs and an X Comes up everytime I try to load it.

Can anyone Help ? (: X

I think you may need to go deep into the computer and delete ALL the files that have anything to do with the Sims. I once tried to uninstall the Sims, but then I wanted to play it again so I installed it again, and I still had the same families on it! And I thought that since I uninstalled it it would have deleted all the families I created, but apparently since there are still files on it it is not exactly uninstalled. So try looking through some of your files through My Computer (as long as you know what your doing) and start deleting some of the files that have to do with the Sims (such as any pictures, videos, or stuff like that). Other than that, that never happened to me before, so I couldn’t be so sure. Good luck! :]
