How do I tell my mom that I have a boyfriend?

I have a boyfriend and my mom doesn’t k now about it. I am 14 and I am scard to tell my mom. what do I do!!???

Casually bring up the topic of boys, and ask if it’d be all right if you went out with a couple of friends, including some guys, one day.

I’d avoid telling her you already have a boyfriend, or she’ll start to not trust you and get angry.

don’t worry. be honest. tell the truth. I don’t know your mother, but she’s probably much wiser than you or more and has your best interest at heart. You’d do well not to grieve her, to listen to her, and to include her in your life.

But that doesn’t answer your question. You asked how to tell her. I’d schedule an afternoon together, make a cup of tea for each of you. sit down, and say “Mom, I have a boyfriend. His name is John [or whatever].” She’ll probably more understanding than you expect. she was 14 and had teen flings once too.

Then again, your mom could be a heartless swine flu zombie, in which case all bets are off, and you should get a face mask.
