Violetstar had an excellent suggestion about condoms. I would only add that you should get the Morning After pill just in case of condom failure or slippage. That pill is available for the asking at any pharmacy counter. At least in PA all you have to show is proof of age 18+. Guy or girl can buy it. You can FunMail me with any questions on it. Why would you not want your mom to know in the first place? I think that if you can’t talk to your mom about that type of thing that ya’ll aren’t close enough. She is going to find out eventually and I think right now is the best time for you to talk to her and not only get advice from others but from her as well. But as others have said… if you want you can go to a clinic and or your PCP and get on birth control or use condoms. If you wanted to go to the extent of having a IUD (last for 5 years) then do that. It’s the best thing a gal could have I think… :-)
