Answer #3

no, it wouldn’t.. you moron. and no professional piercer these days uses a the gun to pierce anything, even your ears. they just use a special cattle needle. if they ARE still using the gun it’s not a very good piercer.

Answer #4

Any body piercings should be done with a needle. . .those guns really aren’t the best even if they are convenient.

you’re going to need something at least 16 gauge just to prevent it from being ripped out/moving on its own and a gun is made for earrings, which are a smaller gauge.

Additionally, those guns are shockingly painful. . .a needle isn’t exactly comfortable, but it isn’t as jarring and surprising as the pop of those awful guns.

Last, the needle is just the most accurate and most easily changed to whatever is best for you. Placement, type of jewelry, it’s just going to give better options.

Go to a professional. . .even if it seems like a DIY thing, it’s not.

Answer #5

A gun should NEVER be used. Nose, cheek, ears…never.

Answer #6

No, NEVER get a gun piercing, it’s very unhygienic and also harmful. Those guns are barely ever cleaned, never sterilized, and the jewelry are also low-grade stuff that could give you an allergic reaction or infection. Life-threatening infections like HIV and hepatitis can also easily be spread through gun piercings.

ALWAYS use a needle when piercing your body anywhere. The needles are hollow for a reason, it causes less shock to the body than a gun piercing.

Gun piercings are always offered at little stores in the mall or other dodgy areas. Never go to these places, ALWAYS go to a clean, hygienic-looking professional piercing parlor.

Needle piercings may be more expensive, but would you rather risk your health or pay a little bit more for proper professional work, sterile equipment & jewelry, professional after-care advice, and only very small chances of infection?

Answer #7

NO! Guns are a NO NO! Go to a PROFESSIONAL place. They’ll use a needle but I promise, it’s NOT BAD! It won’t hurt much at all. Some people make it out to be 10 times worse than it really is. It really just depends on how much pain you personally can handle. As long as you get it professionally done and follow the ways to properly care for it, you’ll be just fine.

Answer #8

jesus christ no youd have to be an idiot to think that would work the gun is a horrible thing only people at a salon or mall use them because there inexpirienced, unqualified and unprofesional they have no idea what there doing, they practice on fruit and the gun is full of germs from other people blood because they dont sterilize it, they wipe it clean im suprised the government hasnt banned that peice of crap allready if you want it dont the right way get it profesionally done with a surgical steel needle youll thank yourself you did later on and theres a better chance you wont deform your lip because earrings arnt made to go in there, putting them in will not only delay healing time and increase you risk of infection not to mention the risk of blood borne diseases if its one from a salon but it the backing of the earring will sink into your lip, making a giant hole like chunk that will look horrible, and it wont heal it will just look horrible, feel uncomfortable, and be full of infection do get it done profesionally theres a lot more to peircing than sticking a hole in your flesh if you dont know that, dont get one
