I love to sing, but im scared!

well if you take drama classes like me then you can build up your confidence without being stagefright in front of people and crowds… just be urself and you will be fine…I had the same problem last year and then I tried it me and my best friend rachal who I’ve known each other since we were 8 years old both got stagefright but just kept on singing…and then this dude came up and helped us but we started again like…3 times and now my drama classes are helping me suceed bigtime…

listen, you should never sell yourself in anyway. I know you love your family but if you wanna start a singing career, do it for you and your well being. its important to do that, that way, you wont need to say “oh, I hate my job but I need to do it to get by”

I have performed many time to many different groups and in many different forms… I sing and I am in like 4 different groups and play music.

its fun for me and do get paid, but I do it because I enjoy it and only for me

Singing in front of bestfriends and family is hard enough some people can only sing to themselves and if they say you can make it ‘big time’ then you most probably can! Besides if you do it’s confronting your fear and shows people how much of a great singer you are and it also shows you have the confidence! So go for it, maybe don’t sing in front of big crowds at first go from small and keep getting bigger!!!

I’m afraid to infront of everyone but my neice, nephew, and little sister. I can’t even do it infront of my parents!! but I’ve been pushing myself to do it lately cause I hate this fear and singing is one of my most favourite hobbies. I just did a few peices of a song a few mins ago. just push yourself. do little bit’s at a time. maybe when no one is really watching at first. like, you’re walking through school with your friends and start singing. someone will hear you, but they probably won’t say anything about it. then maybe you could slowly get to singing in public. I don’t know, this is my best help :) good luck!!
