I love it but I'm not allowed! :(

My dad is going away to ukraine to see his famile on summer and he has a puppy,so he wants me to look after it,my mum said I can but my step dad wont agree,he said I will have more problems and if the puppy hets sick it will be my fault,but it wont!I really want to look after my dads puppy because I love it so much!<3 Please help me what can I say to my step dad so tha he’ll let me?!

amblessed–I already talked to mi mum and she asked him,but he still said no because it is my dads dog and he thinks that theyre gonna get back together again-but they arent! :(

Begin showing your step dad what a responsible person you can be. Clean your room without being asked, help clean up after dinner, help cook meals, anything to show him you are responsible. Don’t point out this is what you are trying to do because it will never work. After a week or so of this, ask him again. But don’t pester him. He may let you now that he has seen how you handle responsibility.

Talk to your Mom so she can talk to him, letting her know you’ll be responsible and how much it would mean to you - I wish you the best !!
