What if I like him but don't want to date him?

ryt so heres the story. I like this guy and I know he likes me because hes told me. hes also my bestest friend. weve known eachother all our lives and now we both like eachother. we know practically everything about eachother. I think hes going to ask me out soon and I dont know what to say. I mean yes I do like him of course I do but I just think that if I went out went out then it might ruin our friendship and that is what I really dont want. I love him but I dont know if its just as friends or what!!

I was friends with a girl for years and always fancied her but never took it further so when I was 15 I decided enough was enough and asked her out. She said yes and 5 years on were still together and very much in love

trust me this is right up my alley, you should go for it. I’ve liked this female friend of mine since I was 16, we’ve known each other since I was 12. im 20 now and I hate her f*ckin guts. She always said we were to close of friends. A friendship will not work out if one partner likes the other. It just doesn’t work like that, trust me. your best bet is to try it out, if not your friendship will end anyway.
