I like him and he likes me but so does my bff

well I like this guy a lot and I’ve liked him for awhile and I found out its the same for him.but you see theres a problem because my bestfriend likes him too.and well he asked me out a couple of weeks ago and I told him id have to ask if my friend would be ok w/ it,so I did and when I asked her she said she didnt want me to go out w/ him so sadly I told him no.but now theres a new problem b/c he just broke up w/ one of my other friends but I know he still likes me I can just tell.so what should I do b/c I want him so bad but I dont want to hurt my friends?

if ur friend went out with him when she said that she didn’t want u too. then i think that u should go for it and if ur friend gets mad just talk to her about it

but the thing is that my friend who likes him,he asked her during school and he broke up with her the same day and said that he was pushed into it n it hurt her a lot bcuse it was her first boyfriend.so shes not really over him even tho she says she doesnt like him that much anymore.so wat should i do??

if u have liked the guy for a really long time then i think that your friend should be happy for you that the guy likes you back. if u dont try things with him, u will never know how things could have worked out and u will always regret not trying. i think that u should talk to your friend and tell her how much u like the guy and if she doesnt understand then she isnt a true friend anyways.
