I like him a lot and it's all because of a smile.

In my gym class there is this one guy that I really like. He’s usually on the other team but for some reason we randomly make eye contact. At first it was accidental but now I really want him to look at me. The other day the teams switched sides and we had to pass each other. We did that thing where you keep going the same way (one person goes left and the other goes right) for like a minute and finally he stopped and smiled a bit at me and was like “sorry” (he laughed a little too). Ever since then all I want is to see him smile again (at me). Just that little smile made all the difference.

How could I start a conversation with him in a subtle way?

well since he’s in your gym class try just flirting with him a little. this guy seems like he has an interest in you so let that boost up your confidence! if he does something well like scores a goal say nice job. ask him about school…don’t jump to personal things. just think about how you would talk to a new person you just met & wanted to be friends with. although you like him, it’s not really any different except you flirt with him too. good luck!
