I jux pierced mi lip and im worried

Well if I were you I would use a stud cause the loops they get infected a lot cause some people touch them and mess with them I got a stud and your suppost to clean it all the time and dont touch it with dirty hands and you not suppost to change it until it heals up =]]

Have you ever had your lip pierced before? maybe it is just for the first timer. Otheriwise, you might need to get it checked out to see if there is an infection…hope this helps!!!:)

yes I clean mi hands with anti bacterial soap every time I touch mi piercing..lol I clean it a lot because im worried it will get infected so stop claning it so much ? so you say the redness is normal? I also have in the back of mi lip where the old post was digging in2 mi lip and it left sumof the skin like white as if it was pinched by the post will this b ok will it infect the piercing hole?

Okay good thing you stopped with the alchol (it does clean it but prevents healing).

It dosen’t matter what you have in it as long as theres room for it to move, so the piercing can discharge.

STOP cleaning it 5 times… do twice a day! 3 tops! your just going to make it irritated and possible infected by cleaning it soo much.

Swelling is normal. ( it should go down more within the next few days, if it dosen’t re-visit your piercer)… Itching is good, and the redness should be fully gone after about a week.

Also are you using alcohol free mouthwash after meals?

Also are you making sure your hands are SUPER clean before touching?
