I havent had my period in 6 months and Im 16!!!

I havent had my period in 6 months and Im 16!!! my periods were eragular and just stopped all of a sudden. I dont know if something is wrong with me or not. im wondering if it could be a serious problem or just normal I have was going through a lot of stress in school and I have been really depressed I sleep all the time. I know that I should ask my mom to take me to the docter but she would just think that I’m pregnat even though I’m a virgin and I never dated any one for that matter any way… I really dont want to get into that problem so if you can help thanks

im the same as you I havent had my period for 6 months either and im 16 and mine is so irragular so ya… I went to the doctor and they said that because im so athletic and skinny so thats normal for me anyways. You can go to the doctor by yourself if you feel better or even with a friend thats what I did and they have to keep the patient cofidentiality so your parents wont know. If I was you I would go check because its different for everybody and its better to know everythings fine.

agreed….it can be any amount of reasons…so instead of speculating & scaring yourself silly winding up mad….get it checked out by a professional for your own piece of mind!
