I have shoulder length thick hair, how do I put in long extensions?

without it looking like a mullet. I want it to look like “scene hair” because I’ve only had short scene hair and I hate it. my extensions are 18 inches and glue in.

please help

section it , because your hair is thick I would put two weaves in, clip 3quarters up and a quater down still, make sure it is in a straight line apply the glue onto your extensions and simply press as far to the roots as you can, hold for a few minutes to give it time to stick, then do another section a little further up and repeat, :). Do this untill you can see your weave (you shouldnt anyway as your hairs thick) but also untill the end of your hair doesnt look dramatically thinner than the rest. sorry if I didnt make much sense lol. theres a pic of me with my extentions in , im wearing a blue top (dont know if it will show up on this question it doesnt normally lol) Hope I helped :)

No matter how you get the extensions done, generally, they will look fake. It’s tough to grow out your hair and it’ll take about a year to get the look you want…but it’s far more worth it to have your real hair than to use extensions as they can look really trashy especially if you get the cheap kind.
