How to deal with having no money and a lot of debt?
I have no money and big debt, What I do?
this is a perfect time for you to get back into the game of life. 1st write which debts can have you be declared bankrupt (attend to these 1st). 2nd write the debts which are just verbal agreements (I.e. friends, family etc…). Now get a job. Any job will do at this time. Cut all your expenses. Live at friends or family. Eat there. Get old clothes from them if necessary. Start paying 10% to your self by putting it into a long term deposit account (I know this may sound stupid to you but just do it). 30-50% use for your expenses I.e. transportation and incidentals. balance 50-70% of your earning goes to your debts. 1st pay the banks and companies that can sue you. Then focus later on other debts. When making agreements with these companies for repayment promise them 50% of your earning (no more). if you end up paying more - better for you. By the time you have cleared you’re own debt you will have gathered up a nce saving for yourself too :) Good Luck!
write down how much you own and try to come up with a plan. if you can not find a job maybe look for temp work. During the holidays a lot of companies need help. Just take it one bill at a time. call the people you owe and try to make payment arrangements. Do you have anything you can sell? You can post for free at craigslist and postaroo. You can try running errands for people, shoveling snow, babysitting.
