I have an embarassing question.

I wasn’t sure if I was on my period or not..so I put my finger up the tampon hole..yes it was clean, just to check.. and I noticed that it is like rigid. I think somethings wrong. I’m a virgin and I don’t know how to ask my mom. So Please Help.
