I have a sharp pain in my stomach from sit-ups.

In October of last year, I had an umbilical hernia surgery. Since the surgery I haven’t really exercised or worked those muscles at all because I’ve been afraid of hurting myself again. Last night I did a few crunches and leg lifts, not really overexerting myself. Now today I have a sharp pain about 3 inches above my belly button. It only happens every once in a while when I turn certain ways, but I can’t make it hurt again by doing the same thing. (I thought I’d try to pinpoint where it was coming from but it just happens on its own.) I’m so afraid that I did something else to my stomach/intestines. I don’t want to have surgery again and now this makes me want to not exercise even more. What could that pain be? I’m hoping that its just a torn muscle but the fact that it’s not constant scares me. Can you get a hernia up there? (I’m a girl, by the way, if that helps.)
