I have a GCSE ENGLISH EXAM TOMMOROW and I need help.

My Exam is on non-fiction texts and writing to argue, pursuade or advice.. Can anyone give me a sample essay..or an example of how someone could do the top 3 ^^^..I’m not too confident on them. Any example would help…please..ill be gratefull. Also, if you know any techniques, thanks.

With any part of Englsh you have to read between the lines. Pick out things below the lones but you get a hint at to what they mean.

Writing to describe- basically be descritptive. Use lots of adjectives and be sensual- this meanins including sights, smells, sounds and feelings.

Persuade- Feel about somthing you feel so strngly about and put all your energy in to the text. use lots of persuave language such as “everyone knows that” ect.

Non fiction texts- you hae to pick up on techniques used. pictures used for effect. you have to compare layouts and techniques used. As long as your point is backed up (PEE) then your going to be ok.
