I got my period and what am I suppose to do when I take my shower?

oh hey, im 13 and I also get my period a lot. after a shower try to dry that area as fast as you can and use a tampon or pad. just cause you have a shower doesnt mean your period will stop. :P oh and a tip, if you use a tampon, dont leav it in for more then 4hrs due to you can get reali sick and there is a disease you can get if you have it in too long. try not sleeping wit it aswell.

taking a shower is just like normal lol you just gotta keep extra clean, personally when I got my period I have three or four showers a day it just seems more comfortable knowing that in clean lol.

First of all, nobody should be recommending to a pre-teen wearing a tampon unless they have lost their virginity. A child that age should NOT insert anything and also it can cause infections.

No problem taking a shower just make sure you take tampon out in shower and put one in right after or wear a pad right after.

Just take a shower as normal, but be sure to wash any excess blood away. Once you are done be sure to dry yourself quickly… or there might be some blood escaping and can make a mess. Either insert a tampon into your vagina (if that’s what you want to use) or put a pad into your knickers and off you go! Be sure to change your pad/tampon regularly. I wouldn’t go more than 4 hours without changing to a fresh one.

ok I’ve had my period since I was eight so I’ve had it for about 6yrs when you take a show make sure you wash away all the blood thenget out of the shower dry down there the put a pad in your underwear and away you go. also ask your mom or older sister I know its emberassing to ask those questions but they will help you.

You don’t do anything when you take a shower. You probably shouldn’t be wearing a tampon when you shower just so you can clean your entire body. So don’t worry about it, there’s no need to wear a tampon and obviously you can’t wear a pad. Hope this helps :)
