I found a dead cat today under my car

What should I do with it. Its kinda Icky!

Answer #1

I may not like cats but that’s just sad, letting the garbage people take it just says the cats’ life was worthless which it wasn’t,that’s just sad. I do freak out at seeing a rotting dead cat but giving it a rightful burial is even better to show someone DID love it before it’s life was taken. :(

Answer #2

Don’t throw it away, every living thing deserves to be buried in the ground not trash can, that’s saying you don’t care about it’s lost life,do the right thing Ericson.

Answer #3

thats so sad poor thing call animal centres and tell them that you ran over a cat so if the owner comes forward looking for there cat they will be able to tell them what happened to it and then I would bury and you last good bye xxx GOD BLESS YOU KITTY xxx

Answer #4

The City of Miami doesn’t pick up stray cats, dead or alive…best thing to do is double-bag it and throw it out =( Of course, burying it would be even better though…poor thing.

Answer #5

I double bagged it, and put it in the garbage, but it smells still.

This cat has been around here for around 2 years now. I think they belong to no particular house, but hang around 2 or 3 houses daily.

Answer #6

you have to bury it it would be the right thing to do.

Answer #7

bury it. But don’t put it in a trash bad. Just bury it. Or if you have a old blanket used that.

Answer #8

Answer #12

Answer #13

a dead cat was found in my yard and it looked as if it just died. I feel bad for the cat because it was a living thing and did feel and besides I just lost one of my puppies who I found under my house in a bed it had dug for itself. I think you should get rid of it but in a careful and the best manner you can without making it look as if its life was worthless I mean at least double bag it and place it somewhere other than the garbage. But believe me you, I do know what it feels like to find and have to dispose of something that wasn’t yours and I hope everything is good and ok with you.

Answer #14

This is I have a labrador retriever, who likes to dig.

So… Imagine one day looking on the porch to see a dead half rotting cat, and my playful lab running around with it like a toy. The stuff of nightmares! Can’t take that chance!!!

In any event, its gone to the landfill by now in the last garbage pickup.

PS. I did not run over the cat, someone else did, it only came to die under my car.
