I bombed the first date

I like this girl and we met in person for the first time the other day. But before we met we had already agreed to hang out a few days later too. Needless to say the meeting was awkward she brought a friend along too which is understandable but I found myself struggling to get into the conversation. the next day she said she was “grounded” and her parents were taking away her phone and computer so we couldnt hang out on that day. it’s been about a week since then. Do you think It’s still possible to pull out a second date?

You could always try calling her again and see what happens. If you like this person you should make an effort to see them again. Does she have a cell phone? If not, when you call the house and a parent answers the phone they should tell you if they really are grounded or not.

I don’t know. it’s possible she really is grounded. but it kinda seems like it to me. sounds like something I would do to get out of a second date.
