Help Please. What's happening?

Okay. I started taking the depo provera shot a yeaar ago. I stopped taking the shot in January and I didnt go to THE doctor appointment to get it renewed or anything. I have did have unprotected sex, while I was on and off of the shot. I haven’t had a period in over a year, but I thought it would have started back after being off of it for over 3 months. I took a pregnancy test in january just in case, and it was negative. Could I be pregnant? If not, When should I start getting my period again?

If you were on the depo shot for a year it will take a year to get it out of your system after your last shot. So you wont get your period for a year to two years. And you should stop having un protected sex cause if you dont have a way to get to the doctors then how are you gonna be able to take ytour baby for check up’s to get him/her food or diapers or anything for that matter. That is the last thing we need in this world is some teen kid bringing a baby into the world that they cant take care of so the baby ends up dead or in a foster home.

it really depends it could take up to a year and half to get youir period after going off depo and still may not even be able to get pregnant when you startyour period give it time but be safe also unless you want a baby
