I am having an issue with my boyfriend

I don’t know what to do because I’ve known this boy since I was little. We started going out. When I came home from court one day he cslled me and started cursing me out because some girl that really likes him wants to be with him is always around him and I get that feeling that he is going to do stuff with her. So one day I was down philly and some girl interduced me to people the girl that interduced me said that she knows me from when I was younger I didn’t remember her but the girl that likes my boyfriend I thought her name was mary because when the girl that interduced me to them she said mary and the girl waved to me. So one day I called the girl that said that she knew me and the girl mary text me back I said oh I don’t like you because you like my boyfriend so we started fighting over the phone and than I called her and she wasn’t the girl I said sorry and that it was a mistake for what I had said. She said that it was okay. So than one day my boyfriend was doen philly and the girl told him that I cslled her and cursed her out on the phone. He called me and started smapping on me I told him what had happend and he said that he didn’t care and that we csn’t be 2gether anymore. I said whatever and that I love him but I can’t make his choices 4 him so we were done no more. Well I’m friends with his sister and I called her and he started talking about me saying that he never went out with me, that I was a B$%$% and that he never liked me from the start. Well after that the next day I called his sister again and he got on the phone and said that he never ment what he said and that he was just mad that zi would do that when he knows that he would never cheat on me. Well I took him back because he said that he really loved me and that what he said was all out of anger. I just don’t know what to do he is 15 and I am 17 about to be 18 in october. what should I do???

remember we have been going out off and on since we were little

sounds to me like a whole lot of people jumping to conclusions and speaking out of turn.

The fact that you’re about to be 18, and he’s 15 leads me to think you’re much more FRIENDS than you are a couple… If you step back and look at things, see what you see…

Also, you’re about to be out of school (if not already), and you’ll find yourself hanging out with people your age and older, not usually younger. It’s not a problem for younger, but it’s usual for you to be hanging out with same and older not the other way.

You have to ask yourself — even though you’ve been “going out” all this time… are you just “REALLY” good friends, or do you have an actual real couple-type of relationship going on.

The one thing that concerns me here is that a good portion of his actions were those of an immature person, while you handled things basically as an adult… are you prepared for more of that? Been together long time or not, I think you’re more good friends than a couple… and if you think the same thing after thinking about it, then you should consider looking at it that way and basically move on towards those that you’re more likely to become a true couple with if that’s what you want.

Good luck!

Jealously, mistrust, anger, disrespect - well, it seems you two have some things to work on. I definitely agree with the previous post- you are at the age where you are becoming an adult. I dont know what your plans are but you may go to college, or community college and live that college life. He is in a different time right now- hes finishing high school. You are most likely want to hang out with people your age, or that are doing the same things you are doing. I would say just play it cool with him- it seems like (im not trying to be rude) he (and you) need to handle things a bit more maturely - calling and cussing people out. Keep the friendship but go easy on the relationship part. Good luck!
