How would I convince my girlfriend that I'll always love her?

My girlfriend seems to think that later in life, I’ll stop caring for her. I know that is not true, but she has decided the best thing to do is go ahead and break up. We have dated for over a year and I have never given her a reason to doubt my devotion. She is based her assumption off the fact that her and I are complete opposites.

Well, I guess the question is: How sure are you that you want to be with her for good? She just wants to know that you love her, and know that you don’t find those differences to be too much. My boyfriend and I are basically complete opposites, but he makes sure that I know he adores me. Just spend a lot of time with her, show her that the things about her that are different are the things you love the most about her!
