How to talk to your friend about cutting?

I have a friend that is most likely cutting herself. I don’t know exactly what to say to her and what to do? Please help. I’m scared for her.

Oh man, I used to be a cutter. not a good scene. I’ll tell you exactly what no one told me but what I needed to hear. Tell her that you love and care about her. Tell her she’s beautiful. Tell her she isn’t alone and you have her back. If you think she needs to talk to experts about this, there is an organization called To Write Love On Her Arms. I’ve had a couple of friends come to me (in the oddest ways now that I think about it), and really, it’s fine… Just tell her you’ve noticed the scars. Then you can have a conversation. Try to get your friend to get help.
