How to talk to this guy at school?

So there is this guy at school that I have liked for a while!!! and im so painfully shy. He has actually tried to talk to me a few times but I always answer with like one sentence. he said he liked my jacket once and a few weeks ago he said “hi (my name)” at school and it was such a shock for me and I just said hi back but im so nervous and I really want to ask him to prom this year and its coming up so soon!! so I need to make friends with him quick! please help!! what should I do?

maybe you should just go up to him and say ‘hey whats up or what you been doin lately” I know its probly going to be hard but just be yourself and then you can ask him”so you gonin to prom’

find out if you have any friend that are friends with the guy and ask to be introduced to him . if you cant, befriend him yurself. no one hates people that wants to make friends!!! just be happy with who you are and ask >:o

Unfortunatly the only thing you can do, is the thing that you’re to nervous to do. and that is TALK TO HIM!!! He obviously likes you(Complemented your jacket, saying hi)when a guy does things like that and you dont respond or give little one word answers it makes us think you’re not interested. so Next time you walk past him say G’day!! and when he talks to you TALK BACK!! you’ll be friends in no time.
