How to reduce stress?

What are some good ways to reduce stress. Also, how can someone not worry as much, because I get worried quickly and I don’t like being worried. Thanks.

first things first; what’s causing the stress? make a list of things that are causing stress. school, making sports tryouts, what ever you can think of. then cross off the ones you can’t control. most likely you’ll end up with a lot less on the list. some big stress releivers are art, writing, dance and other sports. oh and of course meditation. yoga is also great. personally I find classical jazz very relaxing. if you are nervous about a big test, sports game, or performance then breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. another big helper with stress is organization. if you have a lot of let say homework, make a list of everything you have to complete. once your are finished with an item, cross it off. as far as worrying goes figure out what worries you and take preventative measures to help prevent or eliminate it. for example if you are worried about a big test, STUDY! if you are worried about tornadoes, find out where you would want to go in your house if one happenned.
