how to play vollyball?

OK so I got like forced into volleyball for my first year of high school. I wanna play but I don’t know how can you explain to me the rules the penalty’s the basics and stuff you need to know to play? I need to know everything about it. thanks! =)

K I’ll try and explain this to hte best I can. First lock your hands together with you thubs side by side. When you hit the ball with this, its called the bump. The second one is the set. its when you hit the ball with all 10 fingers when the ball is coming down. Some referees are really picky about how you do the set, so make sure you hit it with all 10 fingers. I first rule to remember is that your team only has 3 hits to get it over the net. Second, you can’t hit the ball twice in a row. SO if you hit it straight up, get out of the way so another team mate can hit it. When serving, if you hit the net on the serve, it dosen’t count. But if somebody hits the top of the net on a regular hit, it still counts. And when you rotate (switch places) if your in the fron row, you are movinf one space to your right. If you are in the back, you are moving one space to the left. I hope this helps, cause this is all I can think of.
