How to overcome picky eating?

Ah, I have another question. I’m a really bad picky eater, some points its made me sick. To give you a clue, I’m going to tell you about most of the foods I will NOT eat. I won’t eat corn, bananas, or any type of seafood. Most junk food, salads, or white bread for sandwhiches. I hate milk unless its chocolate or in my cereal. The only fruits I’ll eat is grapes, apples, pomegrante, and pears. I only eat chicken thats been grilled, and is boneless, and I won’t eat most vegetables. These are just some ways too show you how picky of a eater I really am. I’m just worried that it will make me sick. But I do eat A LOT, it’s just not a good variety of food. (I’ve had this problem since I was a child) How do I overcome something like this? Or get over it?

Stick it in your mouth and start chewing. Don’t knock the food no matter how it looks/smells until you try it. If you need to, hold your breath or something, or down it with something you do like. I guess. Force yourself. You can do it! Just put your mind to it. You’ll know if you’re really truly trying ‘cause, you’ll end up eating it.

Well the thing is a lot of the times I think I just get tired of eating “the same foods” I wanna try something different, yanno? But it’s just my natural habit to say no because it looks nasty haha. I don’t know.

Why would you want to. You have the PERFECT diet plan and dont have to worry about being fat. Its my dream life. But try using diff. spices on the foods you like.

Ah, I’ve had the same problem. I literally do not eat anything that’s good for me. I don’t eat meat, and I don’t eat vegetables either. So it’s pretty bad. Sometimes though, you just have to force yourself. I’d try to get myself as distracted (like watching tv) as possible so that I’m not aware of what I’m eatting. Or try to balance your meals and put certain things on your plate, set up a goal to not get up until you stomach it all.
