I'm going to be 17 on the 20th of this month and I have abasoulty no friends I have social diordors and MR but I can't just walk up to people and talk because when I was younger I got bullied so much I got the living sh@t beat out of so I fear that if I walk up to them and talk they may tease me
people like that piss me off. dont worry about a few people, I mean who are they to talk, they are probably just insecure with themselves. and I think you can make friends, just friend by saying hi casually and move from there. I know how you feel, I had the same problem for a really long time but then I forces myself to talk to people and I didn't turn out as bad as I thought.. hope that helped a little good luck =D
its ok, just talk to the people next to you in classes and stuff. Your going to be 17, its time to face your fears. Being afraid to talk to people should not be the way you want to kick off your adulthood. Or through a party, that alway's helps make friends
if you try and build your confidence or at least act confident people will see that you are someone they can talk to and possibly hang out with. try to be laid back and not take things too seriously, just have fun.
