How to make a slipknot mask?

Great idea to make a slipknot mask for Halloween!

Sid’s mask is easy, all you need is to buy a gasmask! He has like 10, so if it doesn’t look just like his, just paint it.

Joey wears a Japanese Kabuki mask. The best place to find it is probably a Halloween store, but try to find a cheap plastic one. More realistic ones are much heavier.

For Paul, find a pig mask. Then Cut it to fit your face and cut out spots for the eyes and you mouth. There are two straps on the top that cross over the head, just find leather straps and use them.

Chris’s mask is more complicated. Buy a white latex mask and cut out the front so it fits your face. Cut it in half, and then sew it back together just for the effect of it. Next, fit a black leather piece. Then bind the two together to your face with leather straps.

For Jim, you have to buy a mask like this one: http://www.opane.com/masksshop.html. Then the tricky part is putting a zipper for the mouth area.

For craig, just get a mask that looks a little like his, and put nails all in it. A dozen or so will be enough. Then do the same, on a racing helmet and use that for your headpiece.

For the Corey mask, I really am not sure but there is a guy online who does make them: http://www.knotmasks.freeservers.com/

Hope that helps.

You do realize that their masks are copyrighted… meaning that you can’t copy them exactly? For Halloween or a dress up party it might be alright, but if your doing it just to look like them, it’s not. The masks were designed by the members and the masks have meaning behind them. Don’t try to copy off them or look like them. That’s their trademarks. But like I said, if your doing it for a Halloween thing or some kind of party, then it’s ok. But keep in mind, there’s no way that a homemade mask is going to look NEAR as good as the REAL ones… so don’t be too disappointed!
