How to lose weight and keep it off?

I’m 15 and I’m fat. The most weight I have is on my butt and thighs. I really want to loose weight because my close don’t fit very well. Anybody have any quick diet ideas that worked for them?

Hi,

The way to lose weight is through healthy diet and exercise. Eat 4-6 SMALL meals a day, consisting of lean meats, whole-grain starches, fruits and vegetables. Set up your plate so 1/4 is meat, 1/4 is starch, 1/2 is fruit and veggies, and there is minimal fat.

If you do this as well as drink 8 glasses of water a day and exercise for 30 min a day a few times a week, you will see healthy results.

Dont make it your goal to lose weight but instead become fit ad healthy.

Portion control is the best way to eat. This doesnt mean dont eat anything at all, just cut down what you usually eat. When you exercise, combine aerobic exercise with some weight training. And dont forget to stretch before and after any exercise. Aerobic exercise can be anything that gets your heart rate up adn makes you sweat (running, walking, playing sports, etc.) Lift some weights to tone your arms and upper body. And since you wanted to concentrate on butt and thighs, look up some exercises online that you can do at home. Lunges are excellent for this. Hope this helps! Good Luck!
