How to know harddisk speed?

I want to know my laptop hard disk rpm… Pls help me how to know harddisk rpm speed… I think windows not display the rpm speed… Any other way to know rpm speed…

The easiest would be to look at the specs for the model of harddrive you have in your laptop. Do a google search using the model number and look for the specs. That will be the definative answer. Best guess though is 7200 rpm. Most harddrives operate at 7200 rpm’s. Window’s does not monitor that. It is also possible for the harddrive to change speed when entering a powersaving mode say your on battery power for your laptop or the battery is about to die the laptop will try to conserve power by slowing down the harddrive spin rate.
