How to get this guy to like me!

Ok, I’m in 10th grade, and I had this chemistry class once. there are only 3 people in my class, but this particular class I saw someone new, this guy that I saw that I like couldn’t stop staring at him, his name’s thorn ^^, but I think he’s like over 20 because he drives :( but when I saw him first I was gross looking. wasn’t my day x_X. I never saw him again, so I kinda forgot about him really, like 4 weeks later he pops up at my chemistry class and that day I was really pretty ^^ my hair was out and I had makeup etc..he walked in, and said “wow, you look different” (I hoped for something more x_x) but anyways I just smiled at him. so I was speaking to my other guy friend in my class, and he (my guy friend) pulled me aside and asked me why I was speaking so loudly. I had noticed when thorn was around I’d shout when I speak and like try to be in his sight at all time, and now I feel like a complete idiot. I really wanna go out with him, but he dosn’t even seem intrested in me :(. he dosn’t look like the type that dates girls (not saying he’s gay) at all. he is shy and quiet, not someone I’d usually go for but I’m just super attracted to him, HELP I need him to ask me out! P.S. when people just say “oh you just ask him out then” I’m shy aswell, I cant do that , easier said than done. it’ll be really really awkward, and I would never.. ugh…help please :\
