How to get over him or make him like me again

I’ve been going out with this guy for a few weeks back in february. It’s been 4 months now since we broke up and I still couldn’t move on. After we broke up, a lot of things happened, but regardless I still like him a lot. I asked him a few nights ago if we could get back together and if I get that chance to I will learn to treasure him more. Then a few nights later he told me no because we’ve already tried and it didnt’ work out. Since we broke up everyday I live in guilt and regret for breaking up with him. My friend also his friend told me that at a point he really liked me and he wanted things to work out, but because I kept on breaking up with him, he eventually just had to give up. At times I feel like he still likes me, but he’s just afraid that things will still be the same if we started over again. I don’t know if he still likes me, and if he doesn’t, how can I move on? If he does, how can I give him confidence that things will work out between us?

Go buy the book “It’s called break up because it’s broken” by Greg Burnhardt. It talks about breakup remorse. Trust me, breaking up is not easy. There was a reason you felt it necessary to break up with him over and over. Give yourself some credit. Make a list of all the things in the relationship you didnt like and how that made you feel. People tend to romaticize how good things were after a breakup. I understand your desire to get back with him. You probably are mad at yourself for causing the multiple breakups - but please, learn to forgive yourself. That is the only way you are going to be able to move on.

Heres how you know he isnt interested in going back out with you. then a few nights later he told me no because we’ve already tried and it didnt’ work out >He just told you how he felt, is there something you dont understand?

Its been 4 mos. You need to just leave it go, and move on whether you are having a hard time or not, because basically, you have no other choice. You cant get on with your life if you keep living in the past!
