How to get over him?

I liked my guy friend Michael for a long time up till now. I never told him though until a couple of months ago. He said he knew that I like him and that he secretly fell for me too but never asked me out because we’re too good of friends and that he didn’t want to ruin our friendship. He said he’ll always love me but I just can’t seem to get over him Help?

I would ask him if he thought you guys could try at least once to go out on a date. See how each of you feel the next day, and then if you both feel like it could work, try it again. If you like him as much as you say you do, I would definitely go for it.
