How to find a job that doesn't suck?

This would not be my first job, as I had a paper route for 3 years when I was in middle/early high school.

I obviously no longer have that job, and now

All I want is a job that I can go to, do, and get paid for doing it. I don’t want to screw around, I don’t want to mess with people, I just want to do manual labor and get paid. End of story.

Why does no such job exist at this level of employment?

Answer #1

You have to find something that you enjoy and then narrow it down. I’ve ALWAYS wanted to help people. I took a nursing class all the way through to realize that nursing wasn’t my thing. I was doing the wrong kind of helping. I now work as a 911 dispatcher and I love it! You just have to find what you love.. and then go from there.

Answer #2

all jobs have some kind of B.S. to it but if you love your work you put up with all that stuff, plus if you like being able to do things and go places, you need a job. What do you like doing and if you have to go back to school for then put aside for that. If you hate the job your in you won’t be there long.

Answer #3

become a security guard, I love it

Answer #4

Usually, people do those types of jobs that they enjoy doing. This is why people go to school and earn degrees in those fields. Doing what you love to do is far more important than the amount of $ you earn. Doing what you like doing doesn’t seem like work, does it?
