How can I explain to my friend it's ok to act out anime by herself?

ok so my friend told me she has her own little fanatasy, but she does it differently. Ok for people who know anime she is abit addicted too them. She says when she watches an anime or reads Manga/fanfiction she kinda makes up her own little story and acts it out and talks for the characters in the show and she puts herself in with them, like a love romance thing(she does this all in her room so no one can she her). She kinda thinks there real and makes up her own little world and I know it’s not only her who does this cause I know some other people do it to but she’s all embrased of this for telling me so how can I convince her that it’s fine and people do this stuff cause sometimes reality is boring

I do that too. Just because you don’t see everyone doing that doesn’t mean its soo different. My best friend and I love anime and we act sences out all the time. Having a good imagination is a good thing.

I do that too! its bacally a way of acting out your imagination. instead of writeing it down like writers do. some people act it out. tell her its perfactly normal and outher poeple DO do it.

Show her that others do it too (this page of answers). And Im even weirder. Its kinda like talking to myself, but I act out scenarios im thinking of sometimes (like, if theres a plot on tv/book and lets say im like omg that was stupid and then I start kinda acting like the people are there and im whoever and its like…acting out scenarios that branched out from plots, or maybe things in real life.). I do it almost subconsciously. I don’t know if I explained it right, but yeah I probably look insane doing it.
