how to convince my parents?!!
How can I convince my parents to let my go on a foreign exchange program next fall? I will be a softmore in school next year and I’m trying to convince them to let me go to spain for a semester! I’m already super advanced in spanish, have very good grades, and am plenty mature! What can I say to them to let me go???
How come they dont want you to go? It sounds like a great experience to me, and its a parent’s responsibility to make their child’s life as happy and developped as possible, so I am confused. Can you give us the reasons why they said no?
just ask them that you really want 2 go and u hve good grades and since you do and your a good kid they might think bout it but you do need sum money tho…just try 2 say the positive things ^__6 hope this helped good luck
Explain to them that it will be an amazing experience for you and why. Tell them about the benefits of going. You have a unique opportunity in front of you that may not come around again in high school, or anytime soon. You have the chance to learn about and immerse yourself in a new and interesting culture. You have the chance to fluently learn Spanish, which could help you have a better job in the future. You can meet new friends, and see amazing sights. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t let you go, maybe it’s an issue of you being so far away from home without them and they want to protect you and keep you safe, but I would just explain these things to them and give them some time.
