I'm wondering how we can clear every website we've ever been to on this computer, like everything we've searched and all. We want to erase everything but not sure now.
(Firefox)
Do you have a PC or a mac? I'm not shure how to do it for MAC, but for PC to clear internet memory on WINDOWS XP.
Go to the control panel in the START button menu, click on Internet Options. A small window will come up, and GENERAL will be highlighted at the top. Go down to the very bottom of this window, and find a button that says "Clear History". Click it, and your IT browers history will be wiped clean. You can also set the computer to auto-history wipe from here as well. Type 0 in the scroll box next to the clear history button, then apply and ok. Then your history will be wiped clean everytime you exit the firefox browser.
Another possible option might be to right click in the search bar's text entry, and choose Clear Search History.
Other than that, if you type things into the address bar, it will show entries from your history, and any bookmarked sites that match. The bookmarked ones have stars next to them. To get rid of those, you'd have to remove the bookmarks, of course. (Most easily done from Bookmarks, Organize Bookmarks). I'm just trying to cover more potential bases.
you can clear the browsing history as
open the Firefox. click tools>select the options>general tab . in the general tab select and delete cookies, history , temp files click ok and apply.

In Firefox 3, go to the menu Tools, and choose Clear Private Data near the bottom. Or try its shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+Del
None of that stuff is clearing the search bar.
There isn't that option...
