How to break it to him easy...?

Theres this boy who I like as a friend but I dont like as more. I used to like him but now I see him as a dishonest person, though he pleas that he is not. He told me he loved me, I don’t love him, I don’t even like him anymore…and I think it’s because I like someone else. He is really fragile and was just told by the person he was raised (his uncle) that he was not his father and to get lost, and he was heart broken. I told him, in a way, that I wasn’t interested. He asked me to be his girlfriend and I thought about it because maybe it could have been good for both of us but I dont like him and can’t imagine kissing him so I guess that’s a good indicator that I should not go out with him. Recently after a little while he called me up and I told him I was having difficulty finding a job and so he said he would help me, he went to talk to all his friends in the restaraunts around and work his magic on them…he’s really charming. So he helped me now I feel if I tell him I don’t like him that he’ll feel used and then either he’ll go off and hurt himself or hurt me. He said that he stayed party free for a month waiting for me and since he waited so long I feel like the consequences of telling him now will be far worse if I would have just said no then. But in reality I really couldn’t know. And I don’t even know if I tell him that he will understand it all because his English. Whatever…I just don’t want to be betrothed to someone because they helped me but I don’t want to hurt anyone…if I did I couldn’t live with myself.
