How to beomce teen actress in gerogia?

I live outside fo Atlanta, Ga. I want to acto on scrrenn tv or fil, ver badly. If I landed a part on disney channel or a movie or something in california I think I could talk my parents into letting me go and maybe stay with a family member up there but my whole family can’t go to may siblings dificult and expensive. I would also love to act in a film here just can’t find on. Any advice?

what sarai said. I’m in the movie business. you can do stuff without an agent if you live in southern california, but living so far away from the hub, you have to have one. also, you’ll have to be pretty good. not that you aren’t, just that you’ll have to be, to get any attention.

A friend of mine was in a lot of commercials (during the Super Bowl and Christmas time) and he was in the Soprano’s as well. He was young too. We were in 8th grade so about 14-15 years old. I asked him before how he got to do this and he said he basically began looking for agents. His mom looked for places there were auditions taking place. I’m in NJ so he went to NYC a lot for auditions so I’m sure Atlanta there’s many taking place. Long story short, his mom would meet other people and more and more people and exchanged phone numbers and found several agents and eventually got these parts. He stopped acting since he wanted to be out with his friends and focus on school. He’s still very talented and humble too. He doesn’t brag :)
